One of the splendid places that you have to check out
when you're having your North Batan tour is the
Valugan Boulder Beach.
Valugan in Ivatan means "east."
From the name itself, you'll know that the shore is made up of boulders,
of different sizes, shapes and colors.
It was disgorge by Mount Iraya way back 400 AD
and was polished by the banging waves of the ocean.
Stone-stacking is one of the most popular things to do in Valugan Beach.
(Of course, aside from taking zillions of landscape photos.)
Swimming is a no-no here unless you wanted to hurt yourself by the strong waves
then be brought back to the boulders.
They said that sunrise is best in this spot.
We didn't got the chance to do it.
Although, I amused myself with the waves of the Pacific Ocean
as I sit in one of the boulders.
I found comfort just watching the waves.
I found comfort just watching the waves.
