Fruit Parfait Fiesta

In the Philippines, we usually eat out and chill after work.
It's our way of de-stressing ourselves and top up our energies.

Batanes: North Batan Island Tour

Comparing with South Batan Tour, the North tour is a bit shorter.  It only covers half of your day. So you can do this after resting a bit following your arrival on the island.  This tour is just the prologue of what the first-timers can expect in Batanes.

During our tour, we passed by...

1. Tukon Church

Mt. Carmel Chapel, inspired by the Ivatan stone houses, is a project for the nearby residents of the Abad clan, a prominent family in the Batanes.

La Union

After exploring Subic,
we headed to San Juan, La Union.
It is dubbed as the Surfing Capital of the North.
Thus became a favorite spot for surfers. :)

Tagaytay

One happy day with my SFC friends back in the early 2000's.
We went on a fellowship/road trip in Tagaytay.

Our first halt was the Pink Sisters Chapel.
It's a monastery for nuns wearing pink.  :)
Cute right?

Ocean Adventure

Another vacation with the fambam!!!!
Yey!!!
I was the happiest!!

That day, our destination was the Ocean Adventure in Subic.
I knew the place had been there for a very long time already,
but I confess it's my first time here.
So just like my cousins, I am also excited as they are. :)

Ocean Adventure is around 4 hours drive from Manila.
But despite the length of the trip, it was very smooth. :)

We arrived at the park a bit early that we had to wait for the highlights, Dolphin Show and Encounter and the Sea Lion Show.
So to kill time, we explored the souvenir shops first.

Then we headed to the Ocean Discovery Aquarium.
It features various marine life in aquariums.

Later on, we went to the encounter cove where the dolphin show will be shown.
We looked for a comfortable spot and settled in. :)

The show was amazing.
You'd see the dolphins do tricks and have fun in the water.
I was even elated when I had to accompany my cousins get close to the dolphins.

After the dolphin show, we then proceeded to the Sea Lion Show.
The lions were stunning and very talented.
They were trained well, I can say. :)

Then we moved on to explore more of the area.

Took some rest in between while the kids run around.

We also checked out the wildlife area.
They had a few, but it was good for the kids to see and get close to.

Overall, we had fun.
It was indeed a productive and overwhelming day with the fambam. :)
