Cave Park Fun Shoot

Once upon a time,
I got a little bored with my "work."
I needed a breather as my brain was already bleeding.
My new bought lens was with me at that time and
I opted to take it out for a test.
Yes! (even when it was sizzling hot outside!)

I am not really good at taking photos, but I am a work in progress because
I have a heart in photography. Haha!

And so, with the highest temperature ever recorded, I went out.
I headed to what we call "Cave Park."

Families and kids come to play and bond in this park, usually during the weekends.

Batanes: South Batan Island Tour

I've always wanted to go to Batanes, like crazy.
It's one of my ultimate dreams.
I've seen and read so many things about it, and it's making me drool big time and every time!
Then on vacation, I was lucky to have my flight included in my hospital ticket!
Viola!
Batanes!!!! Here I come!!

We started with South Batan tour, and it took the whole day!
It covered the towns of Mahatao, Ivana, and Uyugan.

When we started our tour, it seemed that everything that we passed by is picturesque.
(Click on the link to know more.. :D )

1. Paderes Point and Cliff Road

Our first stop during our tour.  At first, I didn't understand why we halted here, but when Kuya Toto, our trike guide, explained everything then I learned what was this for.   According to him, if somebody needs medical help, they'll put him here while waiting for the ambulance to pick them up and bring the injured person to the hospital.

Alongside, the cliff road offered a magnificent view of Mt. Iraya and its turquoise sea water.

Spookiest Birthday Abats

Time to dress up after a very long time of not having had to.
For her birthday, we decided to have the orange and black theme
that went with the Halloween.
It was timely.

The craft and the design came from Pinterest.
Made a DIY of it since we didn't have enough resources.

Apple turon and banana as nourishment
We started out early the day before the big day, so we have ample time to buy additional things in case we need more stuff.
Luckily, we didn't need more. Yey!
And I was sooo proud to say; I have the best angels with me to make it happen.

Dios Mamajes Batanes

Time traveled fast, really fast.
My one week stay in Batanes has gone like greased lightning.
I wished to stay longer but my days weren't enough.
Next time maybe.

But before we bid our adieu,
we swung by Basco Church, commonly known as Santo Domingo Church which
honors the patron saint of Basco, Santo Domingo de Guzman.
