Dates Tayo

As I was going through my hard drive,
I came across this photos (dated Aug 2011).  Haha!!!
Sooo young and old school.

We had a lot of fun harvesting dates from this tree.
I remember I was only 3 months old at that time when I started to work abroad.
I didn't have any idea of what the dates are as we don't have it back home but I've grown to love it.
Ohhh, especially the long red ones.  OMG!!! I sooo love it. :D

Anyway, we all came from our duty back then, and we spotted the tree from our lobby window
and hurrah!!
Dates attack!!! :D

We took a few.
The height of the dates was pretty unreachable even on tiptoes
so we took a bench so we can stand on it.
Haha!!!
(Short girls problems)

Personally, I prefer the not-so-ripe dates.
I want it a little crunchy with a bit of acrid taste after a few bites.
Some opted the ripe ones because
they're soft and sweet.

And after a few picks, we went home with our packs almost half-full.
YeY!!
Happy kids! :)

Celebrating Christmas 2015

The time has come to commemorate and celebrate his birthday.
One of the moments that I've always wanted to celebrate.
Because for me it's more than just a gathering.
More than just a reunion.

We didn't have a big party.
Instead, we opted to have a simple dinner.
We invited a few friends as some of them are on vacation and they have their own thing.

We even had a video call from our friend back home.
Thank you technology.
We could get in touch with our family and friends despite the distance.

Happiest Birthday JC!!!

JPI Series l Day 1: Dinner Buffet

The night came fast.
I checked my watch and its time to feed my ravenous tummy.
I went down all by myself in the dining area hoping to see some friends there and join them.
But I didn't see anybody.
I bet they're still resting or too lazy to come down.  Bed weather.  :D

Anyway, finding the dining area wasn't taxing.
All you have to do is when the elevator opens on the ground floor, turn left, and
go straight along the hallway.

Once you reached inside, select the food of your choice from amongst the table,  find
a seat, and you're ready to eat.

Food fest was done.
One happy tummy here now!!!

Now off to my crib to rest a bit, freshen up and take the necessary doze off.
