JPI Series | Day 1: Departure and Arrival in Amman, Jordan

 Wooohooo!!!
The day has finally come!!!
Time to leave the sandbox for a while and savor you, J!!!

We left our accommodation 9 in the morning and went thru straight the airport.
The travel time didn't take us much although,
mind you, we (with the driver ) even got lost.  Haha!
But the driver managed to bring us to our destination after calling his boss.
(He asked for the direction. hihi)

Me and my green luggage. :D
Me and Ate Elma riding our transportation..off to the airport.
We were early when we arrived at the airport.
A few of our teammates, which at the time, I still don't know, are already seated in the waiting area.
We waited for the counter of our flight to open.
So to kill time, we exchanged names and chatted.
We started the "getting to know.". :D

while waiting for our groupmates to finish in the counter
A few moments later we're done with checkin' in.
We proceeded to the immigration, have our stuff scanned and off to the boarding area.
There we met Ate Elma's family and Tita Gracie.
They came all the way from the Philippines (that's around 8 hrs flight) and had waited for hours (another 7 hrs waiting time in KKIA airport) to see us.
Tough right?
Our next flight to Amman will be in the next 2-3 hours.
We occupied ourselves by taking photos, eating, chatting and roaming around. :D

I managed to take a "solo-emo" shot a few jiffies before they announced that it's time to board the plane. Haha!! #arteLang
The journey was fine.  It took less than 2 hours.
I managed to have a micro-sleep after a-not-so-pleasing lunch.
They run out of chicken so they had to serve what's left and that's lamb.
Ooohhh!! Not a big fan.  :(

The time moved hastily, and the next thing we knew was we're already in Amman.
Woohoo!!
Ola Jordan!! ^_^

too excited to take photos..hihi

Walking through, we met the representative of our pilgrimage.
I opted to join the tour this time to facilitate easy entry to the places we're going to visit.
Anyway, he gathered us by calling our names, collected our passports and asked us to wait where our luggage is.

The immigration took some time for a few passports.
I am not sure as to why but it was ok  Nothing to worry.   Yey!
So now, off to the bus to stack our stuff and head to our hotel. :D

The gang and I.. excited much!! hihi
hello, sun!!

we're now seated in the bus
Ibrahim welcoming us in his beloved country, Jordan
After Ibrahim's warm welcome, time to hit the road and enjoy the ride.

I had a good time looking out the window, appreciating the landscapes and sceneries as we passed by them.
Took tons of photos to remind me of how blessed I am because I made it on this trip.
It was just a dream to step foot here, and now, here I am.
Yipeee!!!

Thank you, PPG!!!
