Advance Happy Eid everyone!!!!
Today, we celebrated the day at Bistro Chimney Cake near Thumamah Road.
Bistro Chimney Cake is a bakery and coffee house that they introduce in the Middle East that has a
traditional touch of Transylvanian recipes.
It offers a sweet, crunchy, fluffy and irresistable pastry that originated from Eastern Europe.
When we went there, we initially had our seats outside.
The surrounding was pitch dark despite the lighting that they have.
Though the ambiance gives you a cozy feel.
It was also hot outside as it's still summer here.
But they provided us with a huge fan with mist.
So it did the drill.
When we were seated,
Kuya, our waiter, handed us the menu.
We enthusiasically browse them and asked questions about the menu.
Good thing, Kuya was generous enough to provide us with all the answers.
When the orders were being prepared,
we killed time by exploring the insides of the bistro.
We took tons of photos. Haha!
Then one by one, our food arrived.
Me? I had the chicken sandwich which was luscious.
It was recommended by Kuya since the beef wasn't that tasty.
It was true enough. Good job kuya! O.^

Then I had passion fruit shake as my drink.
On the other hand, Karen had the iced mocha. :)
Beef club house |
Now that all the meals are on our table, it's time to dig in.
Overall,
I would recommend the chicken sandwich rather than the clubhouse because I didn't find the beef tasty and fit for it.
The dessert was so-so.
I love the pistachio ice cream together with the Chimney bread.
But the other flavors of the ice cream, I didn't like it.
They also had salted caramel popcorn underneath the ice cream.
It was good at first, but if you keep on eating them simultaneously,
it can be very "nakakaumay."
