The day has finally come - after a year of waiting.
Woohooo!!
I've wanted to go to this place.
I was to Zamboanga del Norte a few years ago, but I wanted to go here to check out the Barter, Alavar's Curacha and the Pink Sand.
And of course,
I am extremely excited to see my friends. :)
So after packing our things (without any z's), we went straight to NAIA Terminal 3 to catch our flight. We don't wanna miss it. :)
Remember, it took us a year to plan all of these. :)
A few moments later, we boarded and sat comfortably inside the aircraft.
We took the chance of snoozing while flying.
We even skipped the snacks provided by the PAL. Hehe!!
We were overpowered. Haha!
Then, after like an hour, the captain announced that we're soon to land.
He announced that we're like 20 mins early.
And we were like? What? Why? We wanted to sleep more. :(
And we alighted. We were welcomed by this lovely airport.
"Bienvenidos"
couldn't resist taking a selfie.. the sky's sooo beautiful |
Outside the airport is where we killed time.
Created an "album" while waiting for my friends to arrive ( because the others took a different flight) and the hostess needed to pick us up altogether.
We made time to catch up.
It felt like the old days.

When my friends arrived, we placed our things inside the van.
Then they drove us to La Casa Maria to have breakfast.
We had the usual Filipino combo breakfast.
It was tummy filling. *burrp*
After the sumptuous breakfast, we headed to Barter.
Canelar in Zamboanga housed a variety of goodies from Malays, China, Thailand, and Indonesia.
One may choose to buy wafers, chocolates, noodles, kitchen wares, malong, sarong,
handkerchiefs, foldable bags, shirts, and others.
After a few haggles, our pockets were almost empty.
It's time to head home and rest.
